Just a brief note to compliment you on your teaching skills and in particular for the honesty of your lessons.  I am a returning alto sax player in my 50’s and I was looking for a no nonsense, straight to the point kind of guidance. I had intended to email you with a few questions regarding the use of the bis key but then I noticed that there was a lesson on that specific topic and after viewing it,  all my questions were answered.
I once took a group lesson with a well known professional sax player in London when I worked there.  He was a great sax player but his teaching skills were so bad that the other students and I had to revert to teaching ourselves and exchanging information, knowledge and ideas. In fact, we had booked a total of 10 lessons with him and he was so bad that he didn’t even show up for half of them.
So I would like to compliment you on your knowledge and teaching skills and in particular for the honesty in which you impart that knowledge.
You will be pleased to know that I now have purchased all your books and that I have signed up for a 1 year subscription.
All I need now is the time to put all this knowledge and information to good use.
