Sugal Super Gonz 7*
Here is a Sugal Super Gonz I tenor mouthpiece that I bought off a friend of mine. This is from the mid 90’s and started out as a 8*.  I had Brian Powell bring it down to a 7* and clean up the facing quite a bit. I played a Super Gonz like this for about 7 years and loved it. These pieces can be interesting because they have a nice mix of brightness with just the right amount of fatness to the sound.
If you back off you can get a nice jazz sound and if you lay into it you can push it into a nice loud R&B sound. This piece was in mint condition when i got and still is in great condition although Brian had to take off some of the plating to reface it. Listen………
