In this lesson, I talk about a method to practice playing various rhythmic options while practicing your bebop scale material from my Mastering the Bebop scale books 1 & 2. I show you how to work on 15 rhythms that will make your bebop lines more varied and interesting. Mastering these rhythms will give you more rhythmic freedom to explore while you are improvising while still using the bebop vocabulary you have been working on. I demonstrate the rhythms on the tenor saxophone and include a PDF with the 15 rhythms written out. (35 Minute Video Lesson,PDF)
