Transcribing jazz solos can be one of the most awarding and beneficial things you can do as a student of jazz.  Unfortunately, it is also one of the hardest and most tedious things to undertake. In this half hour lesson on transcription,  I teach you why it is so important and show you how to get the most out of it.  I take you step by step through the process I go through to transcribe a line.  I also talk about using software to help you slow down the tracks.  If you have never transcribed before and don’t know much about it then this is a great lesson for you.
