Improving your Swing with 2&4 Lesson

This is a lesson on improving your swing by putting the metronome on 2&4. I talk about the reasons for this and how to work on it so you get the most out of it. i also talk about playing behind the beat as well as ahead of the beat. I also talk about playing at faster tempos and keeping your inner pulse strong. I demonstrate all the examples using the tune “Dexterity” and playing my tenor with a Lamberson J7 mouthpiece.   (Audio)
