In this lesson I introduce you to the whole tone scale. The whole tone scale is made up of 6 notes that are one whole tone away from each other. The whole tone scale has a very distinctive and recognizable sound to it that can be used to create new sounds while improvising. Adding this scale to your improvisation is a great way to spice things up and give your solos a different and unique sound. I show you how to construct the scale as well as how to use it and what kind of chords to use it on. I also teach you how to practice it in the most effective way.
