Take the A Train is one of the most common jazz standards there is.  Every student of jazz learns this great tune at some point or another.

In this lesson, I take you through my approach to this great standard. I show you how I have students learn and perform the melody as well as learning the chords and form of the tune.  I give you many tips on how to practice and internalize the elements of the song so that you can sound great on it as you solo.  I demonstrate all the concepts with a play along and the tenor saxophone.
