Diatonic Patterns Practice Regime Lesson

In this lesson, I introduce a new way to practice diatonic patterns from my book “Mastering Major Diatonic Patterns”. There are 150 diatonic patterns in this book in all 12 keys. Up to this point, I have only been practicing these patterns in the major scale. Last week, I started working through the patterns in major, melodic minor and harmonic minor scales and am very excited about the results.

This lesson includes a play along track that travels though all 12 keys. It give you four measures of major, four of melodic minor and four of harmonic minor to practice the diatonic patterns in each sale before modulating up a half step.

This is a great lesson for those of you who want a systematic method to tackling the three primary scale types (major, melodic minor and harmonic minor) while learning new melodic material from the abundance of diatonic patterns in my book.
