Whole Tone Scale Lesson 2

Description

In Lesson 2 on the Whole Tone Scale I introduce you to 5 diatonic patterns for the whole tone scale. I show you how to practice these as well as how to use them while improvising. I talk to you about building finger memory as you practice the scales and  also address the obstacle of trying to break finger memory habits.  I talk about the 6 key centers for each whole tone scale and how to use those to visualize patterns. In future lessons we will be dealing with more complex patterns. I encourage you to master Lesson 1 on the whole tone scale before moving on to this or later lessons. Enjoy! (Video,Audio & PDF)
