Probably the number one email question I receive next to “What mouthpiece should I use?”  is “How do I transpose?” or “What is the deal with this transposing thing?”

In this lesson, I teach you how to transpose for the alto and  tenor saxophone.   I teach you how to think about it as well as some tips to make it easier.  I also talk about some ways that I have practiced it over the years that have really helped me.
