Here is the 3rd lesson on the Style of Michael Brecker.   In this lesson I take you through the 40 Brecker Licks that I have on my neffmusic.com blog.  I’ve had many people email me over the last few years asking how to use these patterns and licks.  I decided to offer a set of lessons on them.  In this lesson I take you through the first 4 licks and show you how to use them and what chords to use them over.  I demonstrate each pattern on the tenor sax and piano and describe in detail how I go about figuring out the best way to use these patterns and licks.
