Smooth Jazz Inflections Lesson

I’ve had a few people ask me about playing smooth jazz and how to play with expression. In this lesson I talk more on playing with Expression. This lesson has many of the same conepts as the “Playing with Expression” lesson. I demonstrate the concepts on “Amazing Grace” and show how I use volume, vibrato, bending, falls and tongue position to color the notes I’m playing to get the most expression out of them. I demonstrate these concepts on a Virtuoso tenor sax.  (Video & Audio)
