In this 12th lesson in the “Mastering the Dominant Bebop Scale” series I teach on the subject of adding resolution links to your bebop lines.  Resolution links are vital elements to any jazz players arsenal.  They are lines that create tension on a dominant chord by using the upper tensions of the chord such as the b9, #9, #11, b13.  What makes these lines sound so hip is that they create teension but then resolve beautifully to the next key.  This tension and resolution is what makes jazz sound so compelling and interesting.   I show you how to work through the 8 lines you were assigned in lesson 11 with two resolution links added at the end of the lines to take you to the new key.   I show you how to work on these lines around the circle of 5ths and how to work the concepts into your playing so that they last a lifetime.  (Video,Audio & PDF)
