In this new video lesson, Low Note Mastery on the Saxophone,  I give some pointers and advice on being able to play notes cleanly and clearly in the lower register of the saxophone.   I cover topics such as voicing the notes properly, playing with an “open throat”, tonguing low notes, air support, sub-toning on the saxophone and playing with an 80% air column.  I show you a chromatic warmup that I have been doing on tenor for the last 30 years and demonstrate all the tips and advice I give on the tenor saxophone.
