Learning a Solo Note for Note Lesson

In this new video lesson, I take you through my process of memorizing a solo note for note. I am using a tenor sax solo on Donna Lee that I transcribed as an example of how to take a solo and completely memorize it.  I teach you the reasons this is important and talk about what this will do for your playing and what it won’t do for your playing.  I take you step by step through this great solo one phrase at a time explaining what I am doing every step of the way.  I demonstrate everything on the tenor saxophone.(46 Minute Video Lesson,  Solo Transcription in Bb and C)
