Free Improv with Modes Lesson

Description

This is a fun lesson showing you a concept I have been working on over the last few months.

I have been practicing improvising over all of the modes of the major,melodic minor and harmonic minor scales with one root.

In this lesson, I demonstrate the concept using the 7 modes of the major scale all starting on C.  I improvise on each mode to a Drone recording and show you how to practice this concept for improvisation.

This lesson comes with a PDF in C of the 7 modes.  I demonstrate all the scales with improvised solos played on the soprano saxophone.

This is a great lesson to open up your ears and give you some new ideas and directions in your improvisation.
