Do you ever wonder what to play on those dominant chords with the b9 13 or #9 b13 or b9 b13.  It can be mind boggling. In this lesson I talk about the 11 most common dominant alterations and what scales sound best on them. I have included a PDF with the 11 dominant alterations and the corresponding scales that are best to play over them.  I play all of the chords on piano and demonstrate the scales on the tenor saxophone.
