Beginner Alto Sax-Lesson 18

This is the 18th lesson in a series on learning how to play the saxophone from the very beginning. This series of lessons will be focused on learning the fundamentals of playing the saxophone and developing good habits. This series will be primarily out of the Essential Elements 2000 Book 1 for alto saxophone so you will need that book to work out of. In this lesson I take you through page 34-35 of the book.  I introduce you to the Eb major scale. Every lesson we are adding one major scale to work on and memorize. This is the 6th one that we are working on. We also play a duet together in this lesson. Also in this lesson we review some rhythm exercises in the back of the book to make sure you have a solid rhythmic foundation. (Video)
