Beginner Alto Sax-Level 2 Lesson 2

Description

This is the 2nd lesson of Level 2 in a series on learning how to play the saxophone from the very beginning. This series of lessons will be focused on learning the fundamentals of playing the saxophone and developing good habits. This series will be primarily out of the Essential Elements 2000 Book 2 for alto saxophone so you will need that book to work out of. In this lesson I take you through page 4-5 of the book.  In this lesson we talk about enharmonic notes and how two notes are the same. we also talk about how to play staccato and legato notes. In this lesson I assign the Ab Major scale and talk about how to practice it.  (Video)
