Beginner Alto Sax-Level 2 Lesson 1

This is the 1st lesson of Level 2 in a series on learning how to play the saxophone from the very beginning. This series of lessons will be focused on learning the fundamentals of playing the saxophone and developing good habits. This series will be primarily out of the Essential Elements 2000 Book 2 for alto saxophone so you will need that book to work out of. In this lesson I take you through page 2-3 of the book.  In this lesson we review many of the concepts taught in Level 1 as applied to the current songs. i stress the importance of the fundamentals of playing the saxophone and talk about not building bad habits.  (Video)
