This is a cool lesson on something that I have been doing a lot lately. Matt Otto posted on his saxophone blog about having 12 clips of drones that you can download from his site. I downloaded them a few months ago and have been working on them every few days. What I do is pick a drone key and then I practice all of my modes and other scales to the drone. This is great for ear training, intonation and learning your scales. I also think it is very meditative also as I always feel peaceful and relaxed after doing this for awhile.
