In this lesson, we are taking a look at the tune Dolphin Dance by Herbie Hancock and what it means to do your homework on it. Analyzing the chords and seeing the relationships they have to each other as well as the notes that they have in common is part doing your homework when learning a new tune. We also talk about the notes that change from chord to chord and how to think of them. This lesson deals with some harder chords that have different roots in the bass.
