Beginner Jazz Improvisation Lesson 3B-Tenor Sax

This is a beginner improviser series for tenor sax.  In this series of lessons I will take you from the very beginning and teach you how to improvise.  In this lesson I teach you how to start playing over a 12 bar blues progression in G.  I take you through all the steps so that you fully understand the progression and internalize it.  I also shoe you how to play along with the Bb Blues track on Aebersolds Volume 54. This is the first lesson in which we actually start playing over a chord progression. Learning the blues is a must for any beginning jazz student.  My goal with these series of lessons is too teach you all the basic chords and scales in every key and get you improvising in a fluent way over some common jazz standards.  I demonstrate all the material on my tenor saxophone.
