Beginner Alto Sax-Lesson 19

Congratulation! This is the last lesson for  Essential Elements Book I. This is the 19th lesson in a series on learning how to play the saxophone from the very beginning. This series of lessons will be focused on learning the fundamentals of playing the saxophone and developing good habits. This series will be primarily out of the Essential Elements 2000 Book 1 for alto saxophone so you will need that book to work out of. In this lesson I take you through page 39 of the book.  We finish up the rhythmic exercises in the back of the book and I talk about some of the tricky areas in the exercises. I also introduce you to the A major scale. In this lesson we rap up the book by playing two duets together. You get a chance to play both the top and bottom parts with me as we finish the book.
