Beginner Alto Sax-Lesson 13

This is the 13th lesson in a series on learning how to play the saxophone from the very beginning. This series of lessons will be focused on learning the fundamentals of playing the saxophone and developing good habits. This series will be primarily out of the Essential Elements 2000 Book 1 for alto saxophone so you will need that book to work out of. In this lesson I take you through pages 24-25 in the book. I introduce the note “high A” and talk a little about intervals and what they are. I talk about accidentals and touch more on the fundamental principles  of playing the sax as I apply them to these pages.  (Video)
