Beginner Alto Sax-Level 2 Lesson 4

Description

This is the 4th lesson of Level 2 in a series on learning how to play the saxophone from the very beginning. This series of lessons will be focused on learning the fundamentals of playing the saxophone and developing good habits. This series will be primarily out of the Essential Elements 2000 Book 2 for alto saxophone so you will need that book to work out of. In this lesson I take you through page 7-9 of the book.  In this lesson we talk about the Db Major scale as well as the order of flats and sharps some more. We take a look at some more syncopated rhythms as well as cut time. I also talk a little bit more about understanding rhythms and having a firm grasp of them.  (Video)
