In this Tune of the Week lesson, I tackle the great jazz standard Days of Wine and Roses on the tenor saxophone.

Days of Wine and Roses is a beautiful jazz standard that I have been playing since my college days when I first started gigging. It is found in most Real Books and is a beautiful melodic tune that is great to play. I play the song on the tenor saxophone with a play along I created and talk through the form of the tune.
