Daily Scale Review Workout-Lesson 1



In this lesson, I talk about a system to practice many of the scales you need to know to be a great improviser. I take you through a major and minor ii-V-I progression in all 12 keys in which I apply a variety of scale choices to each exercise.

Working on this workout lesson will give you a strong knowledge of the major scales, dorian, locrian, lydian, altered, diminished, whole tone, harmonic minor and melodic minor scales. The goal of this lesson is to not only know your scales but to have fast and immediate recall of them as you work around the progression in 12 keys.
