{"id":649,"date":"2009-08-14T20:32:52","date_gmt":"2009-08-15T01:32:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.neffmusic.com\/blog\/?p=649"},"modified":"2014-01-16T22:41:56","modified_gmt":"2014-01-17T03:41:56","slug":"649","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.neffmusic.com\/blog\/2009\/08\/649\/","title":{"rendered":"Theo Wanne Wood Parvati Tenor Mouthpiece"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span>I received this for a trial that is going around of Theo Wanne&#8217;s Parvati mouthpieces. \u00a0I have to say that I am very impressed with a mouthpiece craftsman that will stand by his product and have enough confidence in it to ship it on trial around the globe to possibly hundreds of people. \u00a0That takes guts and confidence in your product. \u00a0From the moment I opened this package it was all about quality. \u00a0From the leather carrying case to the Wanne FL lig that had 5 or 6 options on which plate to use&#8230;&#8230;..Even the case for the ligature plates was an impressive design. This Parvati mouthpiece was much darker than the Amma and was more to my liking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/public.neffmusic.com\/WoodParvati.JPG\" rel=\"shadowbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt none; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/images\/stories\/easygallery\/88888894\/WoodParvati.JPG\" width=\"400\" height=\"280\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>Theo Wanne Wood Parvati Tenor Mouthpiece<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Wood Parvati mouthpiece has a nice dark sound \u00a0that isn&#8217;t dead or dull but full, fat and vibrant. \u00a0 I think the large chamber of the piece is what gives it it&#8217;s lushness but I think like the Amma it would take more playing to get use to it. \u00a0This chamber makes my other large chamber pieces seem like mediums in comparison. \u00a0It has a big cavernous effect on the sound. \u00a0I only had time to play them for about half an hour.
