It has a long high baffle like the Guardalas I have played.\u00a0 This is my brightest\u00a0 tenor mouthpiece at the moment.\u00a0 It is very focused and penetrating, cuts right through the mix. \u00a0 This is the\u00a0 tenor mouthpiece I play on the video &#8220;Let&#8217;s Get It On&#8221; on the Sights and Sounds Page.(You need Quicktime in order to see it). I played this mouthpiece for about a year as I remember. I always felt great about it on the gig but whenever I was in a room practicing or teaching, I couldn&#8217;t stand it. It just sounded too bright and piercing to me. i remember playing into a wall once and the sound was so loud that it hurt my ears. I actually felt ringing in my ears.
