This model is the alto mouthpiece with the lowest baffle. It is called the M5 model for the alto saxophone. \u00a0 Here is what is written about it in the Kanee mouthpiece brochure that comes with it:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;The Kanee M model mouthpiece is a very nice traditional jazz style mouthpiece.\u00a0 We used a Meyer Bros New York as a prototype.\u00a0 The Kanee model M offers a variety of sounds,responses and dynamic ranges.\u00a0 It utilizes a lower baffle to produce a dark, warm and gentle tone.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/public.neffmusic.com\/M5topalto.jpg\" rel=\"shadowbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"border: 0px initial initial;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/images\/stories\/easygallery\/88888894\/M5topalto.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"280\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/public.neffmusic.com\/M5bafflealto.jpg\" rel=\"shadowbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"border: 0px initial initial;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/images\/stories\/easygallery\/88888894\/M5bafflealto.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"280\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/public.neffmusic.com\/M5frontalto.jpg\" rel=\"shadowbox\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"border: 0px initial initial;\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/images\/stories\/easygallery\/88888894\/M5frontalto.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"280\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Kanee M5 Custom Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The first thing I thought when I played this piece was&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..Phil Woods.\u00a0 The baffle is lower than the V5\u00a0 and it has a medium chamber. \u00a0 The sidewalls of this mouthpiece as well are straight which I believes gives it a little more punch and focus to the sound than a typical Meyer.\u00a0 To me it just had that vintage Meyer Phil Woods type of sound.\u00a0 It has a of a darker sound to it than the V5 or Z5.\u00a0 This is the mouthpiece I felt the most comfortable with of the 3 that I tried.\u00a0 It has more of a straight ahead vibe to it.\u00a0 I wouldn&#8217;t want to do a rock gig with it but a night of jazz standards would be perfect.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">If you like the clip, check out the Kanee site at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kaneemusic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.kaneemusic.com<\/a> for more information.
