This is a Peter Ponzol M1 that I purchased just for the heck of it. \u00a0I have tried a bunch of M2’s but never a M1( Maybe in a store once) \u00a0This is a really nice piece. \u00a0It a \u00a0bit brighter than the Ponzol ML tenor mouthpiece I played before but a bit darker than the Ponzol M2 mouthpieces that I have played before.<\/p>\n

If you listen to the sound clip you can hear that I get more comfortable with it as I play it. \u00a0I only played it for about 10 minutes but when I finished the clip I was feeling like i wanted to play it some more and that I hadn’t reached the full potential of the mouthpiece. \u00a0I used to love the ML but this might be my favorite now of the Ponzol mouthpieces. \u00a0It has a smoothness to it that I really loved. The real test is to play it out on a gig though. \u00a0I’ve played many mouthpieces that sound great in the practice room but when you get out on a gig you can’t hear yourself. \u00a0Listen to the clip and you can decide for yourself if you like the tone of it. \u00a0 \u00a0Let me know what you think.
