In this lesson I start by testing you on being able to hear the notes played in relation to a cadence in "C". If you do well with that then the next step is to work on hearing the notes as you play them together over a static C and G fifth. The last exercise to practice in this lesson is being able to hear the key of a major cadence by only playing one note. This is an invaluable skill to develop so that you can hear the key of a chord with the fewest notes possible, This lesson is actually in two mp3's because I take a large amount of time testing you. This is a great lesson to work on in the car or while away from your instrument.
