In this lesson I take the introductory material on the diminished scale I gave you in Lesson 1 on the diminished scale and use it over a blues progression. I also give you six more diminished patterns to practice and utilize over a blues. Practicing the diminished scale over a blues is great because in doing so you cover all 3 of the diminished scales.

I really enjoyed this lesson and have practiced these patterns enough to start getting them into my solos. The diminished scale always gives that "outside" cool sound but how to use it has been a bit of a mystery. I found this lesson inspiring - and finally Im getting my head around the uses of the this scale.
