I received this from WWBW about 3 weeks ago.  This is not a handmade Guardala tenor mouthpiece but one of the CNC made mouthpieces by WWBW.  Yes, I couldn’t resist.  I’ve tried Guardala mouthpieces before and they were always too bright for me.  This one isn’t.  It has a nice balance to it.  On the gig it sometimes seemed thinner in tone than some of my other pieces but I think you have to sacrifice some richness in order to get the power and lack of resistance that this piece has.  If you listen carefully you might be able to hear my kids yelling in the background.

Hey Steve, is this piece nearly resistance free or is there something there? I love the sound and I hear these CNC pieces are just as good as the real deal, with the handmade’s being full of ridiculous hype because Brecker played one.
I’m really diggin your sound on this piece, but I always like something to push on so I can really shape the sound by myself and keep my own vibe to the piece. I’m just questioning back and forth to see if I should get MojoBari to put some resistance in this thing

I remember it being pretty free blowing. Not as free blowing as the LAW pieces I tried but close. I would try one first before having Mojo work on it to see how it plays for you.

Hey Steve I really like this mouthpiece, I used to play an Otto Link Super Tone Master NY 8 and currently play on a Dukoff D9; which plays a lot easier and better than the Otto Link, but I like the sound of this mouthpiece better :)

I seriously have to get myself one of these pieces for my tenor, it sound amazing, very close to the sound I get on my Dukoof only more refined and I really like that.

That’s great Brian. I do think these are a great step up from most Dukoffs I have tried.
