This is the 14th lesson in a series on learning how to play the saxophone from the very beginning. This series of lessons will be focused on learning the fundamentals of playing the saxophone and developing good habits. This series will be primarily out of the Essential Elements 2000 Book 1 for alto saxophone so you will need that book to work out of. In this lesson I take you through pages 26-27 in the book. I talk about "common time" and what it means. I also teach about having a steady pulse and how to practice improving this. I teach you the "side C" alternate fingering as well as where to use it.
