In Lesson 11 of "Approach Note Freedom", I introduce you to a new set of approaches to work on. This is a 4 note approach that starts a whole step below the target note and uses chromatic movement to get to the target note. This is a very popular approach that can often be heard on jazz solos. I use this approach quite often in my own playing. Mastering these approaches really opens the door to a whole new range of sounds and devices that you can use while improvising. The possibilities are endless. This lesson comes with a PDF outlining the new approaches over a II-V-I. I demonstrate all the examples and teach you how to practice them. Enjoy.
